Print Setup

A Print Setup records the complete physical path that produces the final paper or stencil. It is optional: No Print Setup always remains available.

Four-step setup

  1. Name it — use a recognizable shop nickname.
  2. Describe the path — direct stencil printer, regular printer plus thermal copier, paper master only, or other/manual.
  3. Print and measure — run the check through the complete path and record horizontal and vertical final measurements.
  4. Verify — print the corrected check through the same path and measure again before marking it verified.

On Android, after a TatMapper-labelled print job, the app records only details the platform exposes for that app-owned job: paper, orientation, resolution, colour, duplex, margins, copies, and opaque printer/service identifiers. Unavailable details remain explicitly unavailable; TatMapper does not invent a printer name or enumerate unrelated print history.

Corrections are derived independently:

X = 100 / measured horizontal millimetres
Y = 100 / measured vertical millimetres

They apply exactly once at PDF export and never alter project geometry. Technical changes require reverification; renaming or notes-only edits do not.
